Prufrock is a one man show from Scribble-Arte starring Eusebius Scribante and directed by Addie Tweidt.
Prufrock is running from July 31 to August 8 2026 at the Cosmo in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada as part of the Saskatoon Fringe Festival.
Scribble-Arte previously had their production, Passage at the 2024 Saskatoon Fringe Festival.
The production is loosely based on “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” by T.S. Elliot.
Scribante gives an incredibly powerful nuanced performance ranging from awkward neurotic tendencies to a sullen stoicism that is deeply memorable. Scribante elicits a vulnerability that is heartbreaking, relatable and deeply moving that conjures up a incredible performance that is magnetic.
Tweidt’s direction is able to perfectly capture Scribante’s essence that allows him to shine without any set or backdrop that fully utilizes his raw performance to maximum efficiency.
Prufrock curates a blend of theme culminating with a magnetic performance from Scribante, whose charm and vulnerability is akin to a well worn suit
