
Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre Extends Invitation to an Open House to Bring Awareness to their Circle of Voices Program

Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre (GTNT)’s Circle of Voices (COV) program is having an open house on September 22 2025 at 6 pm in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The COV program is currently led by Kathleen (Kat) MacLean. MacLean is an actor and graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
The Circle of Voices program began as a pilot program in 1999 when GTNT was known as the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company. The program would go to high schools across Saskatoon bringing awareness to the arts and opportunities for teenagers within the COV program.
The initial program was founded and led by Kennetch Charlette and Donna Heimbecker

From GTNT’s Instagram post, the Open House event is described as “Interested in joining the Circle of Voices cohort for 2025/2026? This is a great opportunity to join us in our space, meet the team, hear from COV alumni, and get more information on what the program is all about!

This is an informal, come-and-go open house. All are welcome!
The 2025/2026 Circle of Voices Program is funded by The Government of Canada, the Community Initiatives Fund, SaskCulture, the Saskatoon Community Foundation, and Affinity Credit Union.”

Aside from their open house, GTNT is is getting ready to launch their 26th season with CoyWolf which runs October 16th-25th 2025 at La Troupe Du Jour’s Studio 914 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada.

CoyWolf is written by Sydney Wolf and is directed by Colin Wolf.

GTNT’s COV Open House event is on September 22 2025 6pm at Gordon Tootoosis Nikawin Theatre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
